As a writer and creative director, Dennis has been creating powerful, strategic advertising and marketing for more
than 25 years—and for more than ten years bringing that expertise to interactive media as well. He has worked at
leading advertising and marketing agencies in Cincinnati, Boston, Providence and the Triangle, including,
Barefoot Proximity BBDO and Northlich in Cincinnati, Boston-based Arnold and North Carolina’s McKinney.  

His experience includes development of strategy and creative work on a broad range of brands including IBM,
UNC Health Care, McDonald’s, Honda, Legg Mason, Deloitte & Touche, Duke University’s Fuqua School of
Business, Wachovia, Wendy’s, East Alabama Medical Center, First Citizens Bank, John Hancock, and a number
of Procter & Gamble brands including Folger’s, Mr. Clean and Cascade. His work has been recognized in a number
of award shows on the local, regional and national levels.

In addition, he has taught writing for advertising and marketing at the Rhode Island School of Design and the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dennis graduated from Kenyon College, Gambier, Ohio, where he
also earned Phi Beta Kappa honors.
